Seeing Stars dress.
Seeing Stars is a dress that works for both work and play and is definitely one of my more easy to wear and comfortable dresses to date.
The a-line dress has deep pockets and a clash of prints with a beautiful and colourful paisley print being the main fabric and a delicate black and white and green floral print for the collar and neckline border print. It is this smaller print that reminded me of “seeing stars” in cartoons when a character gets knocked down.
The waistband is elastic and can be covered with a completely detachable sash belt, the top buttons are fully functional and sleeves are ballooned but have no elastic - giving the dress a whole new level of comfort.
Perfect to wear to the office to to a garden party there are so many places that Seeing Stars will work.

These measurements are FRONT side only of garment.
Almost double for circumference.
Bust: Small 53cm, Medium 55cm, Large 60cm, XL 63cm, XXL 66cm
Waist(UNstretched): Small 40cm, Medium 42cm, Large 44cm, XL 46cm, XXL 48cm
Hips: Small 68cm, Medium 72cm,
Large 74cm, XL 78cm, XXL 81cm
Length: Small 128cm, Medium 129cm, Large 131cm, XL 132cm, XXL 134cm.
FIT DETAILS
Seeing Stars is a slightly oversized dress. Model Tiana is wearing the sample in size Medium as it was all that was available at the time of the photoshoot. I would usually put Tiana in a small in this style.
ALWAYS check measurements but many people that have done an early try-on have ended up sizing down (me included).
The top is flouncy so will be a larger than usual measure and is meant to not be fitted.
The waist measurement is with the item unstretched so plenty of stretch if you are close to one MEASUREMENT but finding the waist small.
The skirt is a-line and has pockets.
The contrast waist sash is REMOVABLE.
The buttons on the top are fully functional.
The dress is a mid-length dress.
The belt is a sash belt. The belt in the images is on the sample and only started at the side seams. It has been pinned and not tied up. the production belt fits fully around the body but is shorter than these images. The sample was the only dress available on the shoot day.
Both fabrics used in the dress are polyester.
This dress is best for size 10 - to size 20.
