Zanzibar dress
DRESS DETAILS:
Zanzibar is a new version of the Sofia dress style but made with my second manufacturer. It is more generous than the Sofia dresses but it does all come together with the string belt.
It features 2 different fabrics the main dress fabric and a trim/contrast fabric used for the collar, and button holes and the belts.
The main dress fabric is paisley black and a gold beige and the trim is striped black and sand.
The dress has fully functioning buttons from the neck to the skirt. It features a dropped waist with small pleats in the skirt and it has lovely deep side pockets.
The dress can be worn without a belt.
Zanzibar comes with just the one belt which is a string belt in the contrast print.
Zanzibar is slightly longer than the Sofia dresses.
FIT DETAILS:
I think the fit points on Zanzibar are the bust. The dress itself is a loose fit that comes together beautifully with the belt. I think that generally you should get the bust measurement that best fits your body then go with that size.
MEASUREMENTS
All measurements are taken with the item lying flat - and the front side only ( so almost double for circumference).
BUST: Small 50cm, Medium 52cm, Large 56cm, XLarge 59cm, XXLarge 61cm
WAIST: Small 55cm, Medium 56cm, Large 61cm, XLarge 63cm, XXLarge 65cm
HIP: Small 74cm, Medium 76cm, Large 78cm, XLarge 80cm, XXLarge 85cm
LENGTH: Small 134cm, Medium 135cm, Large 136cm, XLarge 137cm, XXLarge 138cm
Made from polyester but honestly this is the nicest feeling polyester. It is smooth and is one of those fabrics that you cannot stop touching.
